Snake had a hell of a lot to say, he literally would not stop talking. Snake had just smoked crack for the first time in 2 weeks before we sat down to interview him so he was feeling pretty excited about everything and his thoughts were very sporadic.

He told us about the death of his brother and how it had had a major effect on him when he was a child. He tells us that he didn’t receive any support from his family after the death of his brother and turned to drugs for that support. Everyone knows someone who has lost family members and are doing just fine because they received the proper support, Snake is a perfect example of what can happen when a child does not receive the love and support that it needs.

Snake got into harder and harder drugs and was unable to keep a job due to his addictions. He tells us that his life spiralled out of control and he found himself getting involved in more and more bad shit as he chased his addictions further into the darkness.

Snake has tried to quit many times but has always fallen back into the abyss due to lack of support from family members and government programs. Jason ended the interview by telling us that he wanted to put all the badness behind him and get the fuck out the situation he was in, he said “I choose life”, we hope that he one day does.
